Farmer Profiles

Women Farmer Series 2026

In recognition of the International Year of the Woman Farmer, The Foodscapes Collective is highlighting women farmers whose work sustains families, communities, and food systems.

Across the world, women play essential roles in agriculture—growing food, stewarding land, managing farms, and supporting their communities. Yet their stories and contributions are often underrepresented.

Through this series, we share the voices and experiences of women farmers through short conversations about their journeys, their challenges, and what it means to grow food.

Each profile offers a glimpse into the lives of the women who help feed the world.
